From their legendary fake U2 rooftop concert to "freezing" Grand Central Station, Improv Everywhere has achieved cult status for their hilarious "missions" involving thousands of "agents" performing ingenious, good-hearted charades for unwitting souls around the world. Causing a Scene features the funny pranks that made the group mainstream media darlings and offers inside tips and advice to help wannabe pranksters attempt larger-than-life creative endeavors of their own. Charlie Todd will share the stories behind the group's mischievous missions—such as their annual "No Pants" subway ride and their synchronized swimming show in a public fountain—and encourage the audience to get in on the fun and add more joy and laughter to the world. About the contributors: Charlie Todd created Improv Everywhere in 2001. He is a performer and teacher at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and lives in New York City. Alex Scordelis is an Improv Everywhere agent and writer for mental_floss magazine living in New York City.
