In its “Media Center” section, BPM Magazine, featured images from Lisa Kahane’s photo book, Do Not Give Way To Evil: Photographs of the South Bronx 1979-1987. The book tells the story of the vibrant culture that remained in the Bronx, even after the borough had been laid to waste in the wake of rampant urban planning, economic change and racism.
