La Lettre gives a preview of the exhibition at New York’s Photoville that features photographs from powerHouse Books’ upcoming release Raskols, photographs by Stephen Dupont. La Lettre reveals “the exhibition is on urban gangs and criminals in Port Moresby capital of Papua New Guinea. It looks inside the world of cults and kustom and tribal culture: what happens to men from traditional society when urbanisation and globalisation take over. The portraits are a window into the faces behind the facelessness of gang and criminal activities.” Be sure to check out the photos and look forward to the release of Dupont’s book Raskols out in September.
