Initially when Danger Mouse’s recent project, Dark Night of the Soul, a collaboration with Sparklehorse and David Lynch, was released, it was anticipated to be a pairing of images and music; however, when fans opened the packaging their book, they found that the CD included was blank. This caused quite a shock, and The New York Times investigated.
