“Cultural Memory Matters,” a new exhibit featuring the work of photographer Joseph Rodríguez—author of numerous powerHouse titles including: East Side Stories, Still Here: Stories After Katrina, Flesh Life: Sex in Mexico City, and Juvenile—was featured in The New Yorker‘s “Goings on About Town: Art” section.
Among other adjectives in the magazine’s brief synopsis of the “smart, engaging” exhibit, The New Yorker found Rodríguez’s images “quite moving.” The show is up through March 12.
