The Wall Street Journal reports on the provocative and much disputed style of Seven American Deaths and Disasters author Kenneth Goldsmith. Goldsmith is MoMA’s first Poet Laureate, performing his avant-garde literary works at the museum as part of the new “Artists Experiment.” His new book represents his “Un-creative Writing” style: “It’s devoted to uncannily poetic transcriptions of media reports on the assassinations of the Kennedys and John Lennon, as well as tragedies including the Space Shuttle Challenger, Columbine and the death of Michael Jackson.”
